Hydrangea Chintz

Gracious, has it been a month? Egad.
Well, I have been busy writing. I've also had the good fortune to acquire a new teapot, pictured here in all its glory. This lovely little pot in hydrangea chintz not only has a lid (hurrah!), but it pours beautifully, much better than my old pot which has been relegated to the vase cupboard. The new pot was a gift from my dear mother-in-law and my dear neighbor, Judith.
Chintz china is very pricey. I suppose it's very collectible. While I'm a casual collector at best, I have noticed that chintz pieces do tend to go for higher prices. Ordinarily I'm not especially attracted to chintz, but this piece caught my fancy. I like the colors.
