Be Kind to your Copyeditor
Mar. 18th, 2006 03:11 pmI've noticed an increasing trend among other writers in my circle. They play with different fonts. Me, I stick to 12 point Courier. I had it drummed into me that this was a) professional and b) easiest for editors to read.
But So-and-so says "My editor doesn't care what font I use," and Whatchamecallit says "I find Ariel Bold easier to read."
Those guys need to read the opinion of a copyeditor. Thank you, Deanna Hoak, for your explanation of the reasons behind long-standing customs. They still apply.
Three pages today. It's the weekend.
